Welcome to the St. Malachy's Memorial High School PSSC website. The St.Malachy's High School School Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) meets monthly to provide parent input towards issues presented by the school’s administration or issues raised by committee members. The Committee chair meets periodically with other PSSC Chairs through meetings organized by the District Education Council. During these meetings, the Superintendent and District Education Council representatives discuss issues and share experiences that are relevant to the operations of our schools. As a group the St.Malachy's PSSC is committed to providing input and feedback to the various goals and initiatives of the school. We enjoy a collaborative relationship with the school administration and staff and appreciate their openness in sharing the goals and concerns of the school as well as their willingness to seek out, listen to and act upon our feedback and suggestions.
The two primary areas of focus for the PSSC are
providing input into the annually prepared School Improvement Plan as well as
helping with Parent communication. As a committee we are committed to ensuring
we represent the voice of all parents as well as the community and welcome
feedback from anyone. The minutes of our meetings and our scheduled meeting
dates are posted on the school website and everyone is welcome to attend at any
time. We encourage you to review our minutes to ensure you are fully aware of
plans of the school and current issues.
